When working under a design and build contract, we will appoint and manage a team of construction design professionals for your development and ensure that any necessary specialist skills are represented. By engaging with the project in the design stages, we ensure that a rigorous, sustainable design is developed for your scheme and that opportunities for value-engineering are explored at all stages of the construction works.
Once works are underway, we put stringent management systems in place to ensure that the project conforms to all planning requirements and progresses in accordance with the construction programme.
Our design and build service is completely flexible; we can take on a single element of your project or deliver a complete turn-key package.
Some developers may prefer to appoint their own design team and will only employ a construction company when the finalised design is available. When working on projects of this nature, Clarkehaus will provide an experienced site manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the site, while all buying activity and technical co-ordination is managed from our head office.
As with our design and build packages, the works will be carefully monitored against the construction programme and our professional team will ensure that all planning requirements are fully met.
